The calorie content of lean meat is small, but a little fat is still needed, because without it meatballs will turn out to be dry, despite the vegetables, which also add moisture. Ingredients for Healthy Minced Meatballs
- 650 g of minced meat;
- 1 onion;
- 1 pod of sweet pepper;
- 50 ml of ice water;
- 1 teaspoon of ground paprika;
- 1 teaspoon suneli hop;
- 1 tablespoon of dried sweet pepper;
- salt, black and white sesame seeds, vegetable oil;
- chili and green onions for serving.
A method of preparing healthy meatballs from minced meat
We put the cooled ready-made minced meat in a deep bowl. Minced meat usually consists of beef and pork with a small amount of fat. However, you can mix the meat to your taste and grind it in a meat grinder, choosing the ratio of products you like. It is advisable to install a nozzle with medium holes so that the meat is not grinded very finely.

We chop the onion head very finely or rub it on a large vegetable grater, add to the minced meat.
We clean the pod of sweet bell pepper from seeds, cut into cubes. Add chopped peppers to a bowl.
Now pour ground paprika, salt to taste, add suneli hops and dried bell peppers. Seasonings can be taken a little more or less - a matter of taste.
Pour ice water into a bowl. The water should be cold, you can put it in the freezer before cooking for a few minutes.

Knead the mass thoroughly. To make meatballs tasty and juicy, cutlet mass is beaten or thrown from hand to hand when the meatballs are sculpted.

We make the same meatballs, the weight of one product is about 100 g, a little more or a little less - it does not matter, the main thing is that everyone should be the same.
Lubricate the lattice of the double boiler with vegetable oil so that the meat does not stick to the lattice during cooking.
We spread the meatballs on the grill, leave a little free space between them.
Sprinkle with black and white sesame seeds and send to a pan filled with boiling water, close the pan tightly.
Cook for 20 minutes, do not open the lid in the process. You can drop a couple of bay leaves, celery root or parsley in the water, so the steam will be fragrant.

We serve useful meatballs from the minced meat on the table hot, sprinkle with green onions and chili rings. Enjoy your meal!

By the way, if you do not have a special device for steaming or a double boiler, then you can get by with a large pan with a lid and a colander. My grandmother always cooked like this - in the old days everything was simpler.
